You helped us flip NY-22 and elect John Mannion. Many of you helped flip NY-19 and elect Josh Riley. Now you can help to flip NY-21 and elect Blake Gendebien.

Blake is a farmer from Lisbon, N.Y., near the St. Lawrence River. County Democratic Chairs all across NY-21 unanimously chose him to replace Elise Stefanik in Congress. Blake will run in a special election against a yet-to-be-named MAGA candidate. Special elections are unpredictable. Turnout is key. Every blue seat brings us closer to retaking the House. 

Dave Holmes, Carolyn Holmes, and Rhonda Fibiger have organized a fundraiser for Blake in Cazenovia on April 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. We will have hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Then, Karen Savoca and Pete Heitzman will perform one 45-minute set in a concert setting.

There will be a Zoom option for people to attend remotely, and Blake will Zoom in to speak with us all.

We have a couple of asks: 

1. RSVP at any level you are comfortable with. There is one Act Blue link for attending in person and one link for attending by Zoom.

2. Please ask one Madison County friend who has not been active before to join you. 

3. Please see this NY-21 map and invite one friend from within the district to join the event via Zoom. 

It is time to broaden our reach by forming unlikely alliances with people we know who are mutually shocked, but have not been active, and with whom we might politely disagree with on some issues. This is a wonderful opportunity to do that. Thank you.
